About the play "OZ" was based entirely, well almost entirely. on the book by Frank L Baum. I have never seen the film with Judy Garland but I do remember having seen the Munchkin babes so maybe I saw a clip once and I did use the munchkin babes because I had in my head adult heads on baby bedies and that struck me as very funny. For the Theatr Fach production we used live dogs for the part of Toto which not only got us heaps of publicity when auditioned them "The reXfactor" but also got a good few 'Ahhs' because the dogs were so good and so cute.
